Artist Ekaterina Serebryakova Dies in Paris
An archival obituary for Ekaterina Serebriakova, Zinaida's youngest daughter, artist, collaborator, and one of the essential guardians of the family legacy.

The original notice uses the Russian convention 'in her 102nd year'; Ekaterina Serebriakova was born on 28 June 1913 and died on 26 August 2014.
Ekaterina's obituary belongs in the archive because it marks the passing of one of the last direct witnesses of Zinaida's Paris life and one of the principal guardians of the artist's studio legacy.
Her biography is inseparable from the family archive: she joined Zinaida in Paris in 1928, worked as an artist, collaborated with Alexander, and helped sustain the Fondation Serebriakoff.
